Dear Friends in Christ,
You are invited to join us for a transformative retreat, The Calling of the Saints, taking place from November 1-3, 2024, at Mercy Retreat Center. This special weekend will delve into the lives of the Saints—how they were called, converted, and empowered by God to live out their faith, and how their stories can inspire and challenge us today.
Throughout the retreat, we will reflect on key moments from the lives of the Saints, and ask ourselves:
- How were they called by God?
How have you been called? - How did they respond?
How are you responding to God’s call? - How were they converted?
How has your life been transformed by Christ? - How did they struggle to follow Jesus?
What challenges do you face in your walk with Christ? - How did they pray?
How do you cultivate your prayer life? - How did they minister to others?
How are you serving others in your faith journey? - What did they preach, teach, and evangelize?
How are you spreading the Good News?
Together, we will learn from the lives of St. Faustina, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Ignatius of Loyola, Blessed Mary of Agreda, St. Teresa of Avila, the Apostles, St. Paul, John of the Cross, St. Gregory the Great, St. Padre Pio, and many more. We will explore the importance of the Church, sacraments, scripture, prayer, song, community, and spirituality as the Saints did in their journeys of faith.
All of us are called to be Saints—and that includes you!
The retreat will begin on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 7:00 PM, and will conclude on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 4:00 PM. The cost is $200.00 ($100 deposit upon registration), which includes lodging and meals for the entire weekend. All major credit cards and debit cards accepted, checks, and money orders.
