RETREAT DETAILS:
The “Veteran’s Retreat” is scripture based.
This Veterans Retreat is for men and women who served in the armed forces of our country.
This retreat will focus on the Spiritual Renewal of the individual.
This retreat is for Veterans and their immediate adult family.
Both Volunteers and those drafted into the service are welcome.
The retreat will present the Good News announced by Jesus.
This retreat is ideal whether you’ve ever been on a retreat.
This retreat is for those Seeking God and Wanting Answers.
This retreat is for ex-soldiers who want more Love, Peace, & Joy in life.
This retreat will be presented by Veterans and family members.
The thrust is basic evangelization that brings each person into contact with Jesus and his word. Each presentation begins with a scripture text followed by the speaker’s reflections. The team tries to present Jesus to the group allowing Him (Jesus) to touch their hearts. The retreat helps bring each person to a conversion experience by walking with Jesus. The sharing allows a person to reflect upon God’s love for him or her and hear Jesus saying that he or she is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
